Camden-Wyoming Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. proudly protects a "bedroom" community in Central Delaware. Population served is approximately 25,000 people living in an area of 44 square miles. In the past 3 years, our district has seen the construction of 2 new middle schools, a new elementary school, expansion of a 2nd elementary school, expansion to the high school, and construction of more than 1,500 new housing units, including several "active senior's" communities. 

We operate out of One  station that protects a primarily residential area.  Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We have paid carreer EMT's that respond to Emergency Medical Dispatches six days a week (24 hours), and volunteer EMT's on Saturday.

 Founded in 1917, The department currently responds to approximately 800 Fire alarms annually, and nearly 1,500 EMS calls. Our Apparatus consists of 3 engines, 1 Pumper / Rescue, 1 tanker, 1 ambulance, 1 Suburban and 1 passenger van.

We are excited to announce the construction of our new fire house which will be completed the beginning of 2007.
